Education should create freedom and liberate the individual. This is the inspiration behind our educational mission: FREE. Here you'll find more information about what FREE really means in practice and how it is implemented at SSE.

Free in practice

One way that SSE implements FREE into our learning and work environment is through our initiatives – Art, Tech and Sport – and the Literary Agenda. The initiatives are co-created by the SSE community – students, faculty, alumni and partners – and are embedded into the daily experience through our art walks and classrooms, inspirational seminars, physical activities and discussions.

An education from SSE gives you an analytical toolbox that is valuable no matter in what type of career you end up. By learning the basics of a broad range of topics in business and economics, combined with the opportunity to specialize during the third year of the bachelor’s program or during the master program’s, the knowledge you gain is both deep and wide – all in a setting that is highly intellectually stimulating.
