From January 2022, Jessica O’Mary has been appointed Vice President of External Relations at SSE. The previous Vice President, Katarina Hägg, has been appointed the new CEO of SSE Executive Education and is moving on to that position.

Katarina Hägg has been appointed CEO of SSE Executive Education. From January she is taking over from Anders Richtnér, who is moving on to new challenges outside of SSE. Katarina will be moving on from her current position as Vice President of International Affairs and External Relations at SSE.

Stairs named after Dr Gisèle Asplund

This autumn, the City Planning Committee of Stockholm decided that the stairs between Saltmätargatan and Holländargatan will be named after Gisèle Asplund, who was the first female Doctor of Philosophy at SSE. The naming ceremony took place this afternoon.

Robert Östling receives the Assar Lindbeck Medal

The Assar Lindbeck Medal 2021 is awarded to professors Robert Ă–stling and Erik Lindqvist, active at the Stockholm School of Economics respectively the Institute for Social Research at Stockholm University. The award, in honor of Assar Lindbeck's diverse and pioneering economic research efforts, is awarded every two years to researchers under the age of 45 who are active in Sweden, which have contributed significantly to economic thinking and economic knowledge.
Abhijeet Singh winner of SSE Corporate Partners’ Research Award 2021

Associate Professor Abhijeet Singh has been awarded the SSE Corporate Partners’ Research Award 2021 for his empirical studies of education polices. The award, which amounts to 100,000 SEK, was presented by SSE President Lars Strannegård.
