Crafting an Investment Story with Dustin
During the visit, Jenny Ring, EVP People & Culture, shared insights into Dustin's strategy, culture and position in the Nordic B2B IT market. The session gave students a better understanding of how Dustin works with long-term customer relationships, operational development and leadership within a competitive technology industry.
In the workshop case, students were asked to develop a refreshed equity story for Dustin that could be used in future investor communication. The assignment was given at the initiative of Dustin's CEO, who was curious to hear how SSE students would frame the company's investment story. Working in groups, the students analyzed Dustin's market position, strategy and financial development to identify the key drivers behind the company's long-term value creation.
The solutions highlighted Dustin's strong B2B relationships, its digital procurement platform and the company's potential to grow through services and lifecycle solutions. Sustainability initiatives and circular IT were also emphasized as important elements strengthening Dustin’s long-term positioning.
The session concluded with Erika Bäckman, CEO Trainee, and Markus Lockner, Executive Management Trainee, who shared insights into early career opportunities at Dustin and discussed potential career paths within the company following the management trainee programme. A special thank you to Erika, Markus, Jenny and Emma Ekenstedt, Project Manager People & Culture, as well as the rest of the Dustin team, for hosting an engaging and insightful workshop.
