Diverse and experienced cohorts for a rich learning experience

In each class, most participants will have extensive international experience, both academically and professionally.

Every cohort is carefully selected by our admissions team. A more diverse group fosters richer case discussions, broader perspectives, enhanced learning, and stronger networks.

Your fellow participants come from a variety of academic backgrounds, including engineering, law, economics, business, medicine, chemistry, psychology, and political science. They represent industries such as manufacturing, automotive, technology, life sciences, forestry, entertainment, telecom, retail, and financial services.

Our participants work in companies of all sizes, across both the private and public sectors, and some are entrepreneurs. Your class will be diverse in every way. There is no typical Executive MBA participant – each of you is special.

What alumni say about their cohort

"The diversity of the cohort is essential for a great experience and I would say that the program management at SSE has really made a great mix of personalities, professions, backgrounds and goals in life and work. I am now more humble than before and take my time to reflect and interact with people that are not a blueprint of myself. I embrace the benefits of other people with complete different skillsets and views. That was an eyeopener for me and something that I use and will use in my future work."

"Prior to starting the program, I heard from colleagues and friends about how important the networking during the MBA program is but to truly understand it you have to experience it yourself. People I met were amazing with exciting life and work background. I remember the feeling first coming to my reflection group and discovering the variety of professions and skill in the room, starting from investment banking and covering medicine, art, mining, engineering, etc. This has brought so much richness into the studying process and helped to go beyond the material provided in the class and facilitated the learning."
