FORMAS awards major grant to three MISUM affiliates for climate policy and green transition research

A research team from the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm University, in collaboration with the Research Department of Sveriges Riksbank, has been awarded a FORMAS research grant of SEK 19.6 million (approximately €1.79 million).

The Swedish government has appointed Martina Björkman Nyqvist, professor of economics at the Stockholm School of Economics and Executive Director of Misum, as a new member of the board of Sida. She brings extensive expertise in impact evaluation of development aid – to help ensure that aid funding is used where it can make the greatest difference.

New research grant

We are glad to announce that our Misum Affiliate Laurence Romani, together with professor Andrea Voyer and Dr. Paolo Velásquez have secured a 6 million SEK in funding from Riksbankens Jubileumfond for their new research project on “Solving the integration challenge of high-skilled migrants: the central role of merits”.
