Andrea Monti
Andrea Monti is a researcher at the Center for Migration and Integration Research (CMIR) at the Stockholm School of Economics and a postdoctoral researcher in Sociology at Mälardalen University.
She obtained her Ph.D. in Demography from the Department of Sociology at Stockholm University in 2021. After her defense, Andrea worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Stockholm University and Åbo University, and collaborated closely with the Norwegian Institute for Urban and Regional Research (NIBR). She has also worked as a senior analyst at the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention.
Her research focuses on international and regional migration patterns and determinants, return and onward migration, integration trajectories, occupational gender segregation, and register data.
