Best result ever for SSE MBA program in new Financial Times ranking

The Stockholm School of Economics’ Executive MBA program has achieved its best-ever result in the Financial Times 2025 ranking, placing 40th globally among the top 100 programs.

This marks a significant leap from last year’s rank of 67, reflecting strong progress across several key areas including salary advancement, diversity, and internationalization.

Alumni who graduated in 2022 reported an average salary increase of 53 percent three years after graduation compared with their pre-program earnings – a 13 percentage point improvement over the previous cohort.

Scores for diversity also improved notably: female students now represent 44 percent of the class (up from 37 percent last year), while international students make up 51 percent of the cohort (up from 36 percent). The program also earned an impressive #11 global ranking for international course experience, a sharp rise from #32 last year.

"We are very happy with this milestone ranking result for our program,” says Angelika Lindstrand, Academic Director of the SSE MBA Executive Format. “It’s a testament to the dedication of our faculty and staff, the engagement of our alumni, and the ambition of our students. It underscores not only our continued efforts to strengthen the Executive MBA program at SSE, but also the unique international and diverse learning environment we strive to create at SSE.”

As we are now finalizing the intake for the SSE MBA class of 2025, we are excited to soon welcome our new participants to SSE in December!
